Orlando Bloom's Will Turner character was nowhere to be seen in 2011's Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, but it's now been confirmed that he'll return for the latest entry in the series.
Disney announced today at D23 that Bloom will reprise his suave pirate character for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, which is due to hit theaters in 2017.
Other returning actors include Johnny Depp (Captain Jack Sparrow), Geoffrey Rush (Barbossa), Kevin R. McNally (Gibbs), and Stephen Graham (Scrum).
Dead Men Tell No Tales is the first new entry in the series in six years. The last time we saw Bloom as Turner in a Pirates movie, meanwhile, was back in 2007's At World's End.
